ERA appoints Focaldata to compile entertainment industry’s benchmark consumer tracking study
Digital entertainment and retail association ERA is delighted to announce it has appointed AI-powered research agency Focaldata, named one of the UK’s fastest growing research companies, to compile its benchmark consumer tracking study.
Using its proprietary AI technology, Focaldata will conduct the twice-yearly study into the entertainment preferences and behaviour of 2,000 UK consumers on behalf of ERA.
The ERA tracking study, now in its 12th year, has become the definitive source of insight into changing consumer entertainment consumption behavior with millions of data points on consumer interactions with music, video and games.
ERA conducts the study on behalf of its members who include Spotify, YouTube, Soundcloud, Amazon, Sky, Deezer and Virgin Media, together with physical retailers including HMV, Game and hundreds of independent record shops.
Focaldata clients include the FA, PWC, the Cabinet Office, Virgin Media O2, Which and Money Supermarket.
